Content States

The state of a piece of content in Base determines the level of visibility and accessibility on the front end website.

State	Description
Published (Live)	Content is viewable and "Live" on the front end site at the link shown in the SEO Field shown in the screenshot below. Note: You will not see the content appear on the homepage or section pages until a schedule has been assigned. More on that can be found here.
Draft (Working)	Content that is an unfinished "working" copy, but not yet published to the site. Note: Unpublished content is not viewable on the front end site.
Deleted	Content that has been deleted Note: Once a piece of content has been deleted, it will still be stored and searchable within Base, it won't ever be removed permanently.
Expired	Content who's Expired Date has passed Note: Expired content is not viewable on the front end site. Note: This is an automatic status based on the Expiration date and cannot be manually set on content.
