Creating an access level

Follow the steps below to create a new access level within your application.

Creating an Access Level

Click on "Access Levels" in the secondary navigation bar to view the list of Access Levels for your current application. You can use the available to filter the list of access levels.

Click on the green "+" icon in the bottom left to create a new Access Level.

Fill in the fields and click "Save" to create your new access level.

  • Name

    • The name of the access level. This will be displayed to end users when they do not have the required access level, and will be displayed in consuming applications (such as Base) when displaying access levels to apply to content.

  • Description

    • A description of the access level. For internal use, freely describe the access level and its usage.

  • No Access Message (Logged In)

    • This message will be displayed to a user when they are logged in but lack the required access level to consume content. Supports HTML.

  • No Access Message (Logged Out)

    • This message will be displayed to a user when the are not logged in. Typically used to indicate that a subscription is required. Supports HTML.

You will be returned to the list of access levels, including your newly created item. To make to the access level, click on the "Modify" button.
