# Creating a user

## Selecting an Organization & Application

[Log in](/identity-x/navigating-the-interface/logging-in-to-identityx.md) to IdentityX, [select an organization](/identity-x/navigating-the-interface/selecting-an-organization.md), and [select an application](/identity-x/navigating-the-interface/selecting-an-application.md).

## Creating a User

To create a user, click on the "Users" item in the secondary navigation bar, and then click on the green "+" icon in the bottom left of the screen.

### User Fields

* First Name
* Last Name
* Email Address
* Access Levels
  * Select access level(s) that should be granted to this user.
* Teams
  * Select team(s) that this user should be granted access to.

Fill in the user's details and click "Save".

Once saved, the user will be displayed in the [user list screen](/identity-x/users/viewing-and-finding-users.md#listing-users).
