Document and Whitepaper content types are used for uploading files (such as .pdfs) for users to download from the website. These are frequently used for items such as Media Kits, Whitepapers, or Event packets where users can download, print off, and take with them.
One of the primary uses of Documents and Whitepapers is the ability to Gate the content, meaning users will be forced to fill out a form before they're able to view or download the uploaded file. If you wish to rename the file, (For instance, a 2019 version over a 2018 version) we recommend creating a new Document in Base instead.
