Previewing Newsletters

Here you'll find out how to preview the live version of the newsletter.

PreviousScheduling Content to NewslettersNextModifying Newsletter Templates

Last updated 4 years ago

Live previews of the newsletters can be found at https://newsletters.domain.com (replace "domain" with your website domain).

That will bring up a list of newsletters that will look similar to this:

For each newsletter template, you can select most recent or select day.

  • Most recent will take you to today's date.

  • Select day will pop up with a calendar that allows you choose which date you'd like to view.

Each day corresponds to the scheduled date of content, so if you schedule content to April 1st, you'll select April 1 in the calendar pop-out to preview your newsletter. If you select a day and don't see any content, it's likely that there isn't content scheduled to that day.

How to look for scheduled content

If you're unsure what content is scheduled to a particular day in a newsletter, you can utilize the browse page of Base to search for content.

Select the Email option in the scheduling drop-down:

Choose from the list of available newsletters to search:

Select one of the newsletter sections:

You may want to stop there if you're looking for ALL content scheduled to that particular newsletter section. Otherwise, you can narrow down your search results by entering a scheduled date.

Click Update Filter to apply your search results:

Deployment Date and Sequence are optional fields. You can search for content without entering either. This can be useful if you're unsure which date has content scheduled.
