Although individual newsletters may have their own unique nuances that make scheduling a little different, all newsletters will still follow the same general guidelines.

Important to note: Newsletters do not adhere to the - this means that if a piece of content has expired or is in draft, it will still appear on the scheduled newsletter. To remove the content, you must remove the newsletter schedule.

In Base, navigate to the piece of content you wish to schedule. On the left-hand side of the page you'll see a scheduling option for Website, Magazine, and Newsletter. Select the "Newsletter" tab:

You have the ability to add multiple schedules at the same time. This way, if you have a single piece of content that will appear in several different newsletters or sections, you can several schedules all in the same bout.

When you're ready, you can click the green icon in the upper right to create the schedules.

Sequencing

In order to sort content in the proper order within an assigned section, you have the option to set a Sequence. It's important to note that sequencing begins at 0, not 1, so, if you want a piece of content to appear in the first slot within a particular section of a newsletter, you would set it to 0, and you would change the sequence of other content scheduled to that section to 1, 2, 3, etc. All content will default to 0 as the sequence, so if you'd like to order content this way, it should be consistent with other pieces of content scheduled to that section.

If no sequence is set, the content will flow naturally based on when the schedule was added. For more control over the order of content, you can modify the sequence.

Modifying an existing schedule

Click the pencil icon on the newsletter schedule to modify any of the set properties:

Removing content from a newsletter

If you've decided to remove a piece of content from one of your newsletters, you simply delete the corresponding schedule. If you click the trash-can icon once, it will change to a warning symbol. This prevents accidental deletion. To fully remove the schedule, you'll click the icon a second time.

From here, you'll choose the newsletter you wish to schedule to, the section/row you want it to appear in, scheduled date and time, and the sequence. Understanding your will help you decide on where content should be scheduled.

Important to note: Newsletters do not adhere to the - this means that if a piece of content has expired or is in draft, it will still appear on the scheduled newsletter. To remove the content, you must remove the newsletter schedule.
